The pools of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifying tournament, which will take place in August, have been announced.
The winner of each group qualifies directly at the Olympics.
The others will have another chance thanks to the continental qualifying tournaments, which will take place in January 2020. Each of them offers 1 pass to Tokyo, for a total of 5.
Here are the pools of the qualifying tournament scheduled for August 9-11:
- Pool A: Brazil, Egypt, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico
- Pool B: USA, Belgium, Netherlands, South Korea
- Pool C: Italy, Serbia, Australia, Cameroon
- Pool D: Poland, France, Slovenia, Tunisia
- Pool E: Russia, Iran, Cuba, Mexico
- Pool F: Canada, Argentina, Finland, China
