Consar Ravenna - Revivre Axopower Milano 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-15)
The first match of the season was played in Ravenna. Physical issues for the opposite Argenta, replaced by the young Rychlicki. His debut in the Italian championship was excellent, with 18 points made and a lot of grit expressed. And the determination and enthusiasm have characterized the performance of the whole team, overwhelming and unstoppable from the service line (11 aces) and good at blocking (14 blocks).
An unexpectedly fast match, deservedly won by the hosts.
Bad day for Milano, which has never entered the game and has suffered in all fundamentals without being able to react.

Sir Safety Conad Perugia – Top Volley Latina 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22)
The Italian Champions entered the court on the SuperLega first day with a formation partly renewed compared to that of the treble. During the match, the team has shown to be growing, with a game more flowing than the debut in Supercoppa.
Latina has tried to keep up the pace, but has struggled in reception under the hits of the opponents (8 aces) and in particular of Leon, really inspired by the service line (5 aces for him). Thanks to his serves, the Cuban athlete, in the first set, has dragged his teammates from 2-3 to 11-3.

Azimut Leo Shoes Modena - Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-18)
Difficult start of the season for Sora, at Modena's home, fresh winner of the Supercoppa, in front of about 4,800 viewers.
The home team has shown its qualities in all fundamentals, putting pressure on opponents.
Sora tried to keep a high level of play, but Modena never lost the concentration needed to win the 3 points.

Itas Trentino - Emma Villas Siena 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-22)
An important date for Siena, which with this match made its debut in SuperLega. A new and interesting team. It played against one of the strongest teams and lost 3-0, but, despite the net result, it showed good things on the court.
Trento has managed not to concede even a set to the opponents, thanks to a good team’s performance, with Kovacevic and Russell always decisive in attack and a phenomenal Grebennikov on every ball.
MVP: Uros Kovacevic Kioene Padova - Cucine Lube Civitanova 0-3 (21-25, 18-25, 14-25)
Padova started well, managing to put their opponents in difficulty in the first set. During the match, however, the hosts missed a little continuity, with many errors and fatigue in reception (15 serve errors and 1 ace against 7 serve errors and 12 aces for Civitanova).
Lube decisive from the service line and also with its blocks, with 10 points made.

Vero Volley Monza - Calzedonia Verona 1-3 (25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 23-25)
Home debut for Monza without Ghafour, arrived only the day after due to a delay in the delivery of visa.
First set won by the hosts, but they lost Yosifov, came out after a sprained ankle.
Verona quickly reacted, and in the second set the team led 12-4. Monza didn’t give up and managed to recover until 23-24, but it lost to the next point.
The following two sets were balanced, with good play by both teams.
Verona had the merit of winning the entire stakes, without granting the tie-break to the opponents.

Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia - BCC Castellana Grotte 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22)
A hard-fought match, well played by both teams.
The errors made the difference: Vibo Valentia made less errors and managed to win 3 important points for the championship.
24 points for Renan, Castellana Grotte’s opposite, who returned this year to Italy.
On the other side of the net, 23 points for the debutant Al Hachdadi and 27 for Skrimov, also returning to SuperLega, author of a great performance with 19 attacks, 6 aces and 2 blocks.
