Wixo LPR Piacenza has not
registered for the 2018/2019 SuperLega.
After years of economic difficulties (several times the club risked not finding the necessary resources in time), President Molinaroli had to raise the white flag, because the financial coverage was not sufficient.
But this isn’t a farewell to high-level volleyball for the city: in fact the new Gas Sales Piacenza will take part in the Serie A2.
The coach, Botti, can also count on the great experience of Alessandro "Fox" Fei, who, after a life in SuperLega, has decided to give up some offers and stay in Piacenza, with the aim to have a good season and maybe have the chance to go back to SuperLega.
